New Faculty Books

Two new books from history faculty.

Congratulations to Professors Findlay and Hevly whose book, Atomic Frontier Days: Hanford and the American West, was just published by the University of Washington Press. According to one reviewer, "It is a must-read for anyone interested in and concerned about this nation's nuclear legacy, with many lessons applicable to future uses of nuclear energy."

And congratulations to Professor Richard Kirkendall whose book, The Organization of American Historians and the Writing and Teaching of American History, was just published by Oxford University Press. The book illustrates and explains the historiography of American history as reflected in the members and publications of the Organization of American Historians.
