A shout out for two history faculty.
Patricia Ebrey has been awarded the 2010 Shimada Prize for her book, Accumulating Culture: The Collections of Emperor Huizong. The Shimada Prize recognizes outstanding work in East Asian art history.
Quintard Taylor and his BlackPast.org website was featured by columnist Jerry Large in today's Seattle Times. BlackPast.org is one of the leading websites dealing with African American history with more than 2 million visitors last year.
