Web Find: London Lives 1690 to 1800

Discover what life was like for the ordinary person in 18th century London via a new website, London Lives 1690 to 1800. More than 240,000 manuscript and printed pages from eight London archives are available on this site. Documents include pauper examinations, coroners’ records and poor relief records. In addition there are datasets that include workhouse registers and hospital admissions. The site is supplemented with guides that provide contextual information and examples of document analysis.
