The Library is currently participating in a long-term trial of Oxford's Electronic Enlightenment database. Electronic Enlightenment is a collection of correspondence (more than 53,000 letters and documents) from the major thinkers of the 18th century including Bentham, Hobbes, Hume, Rousseau and Voltaire. Once in the database, click on "Subscribers enter here" link to search.
The trial runs through 31 December 2008. If you are using the database from off-campus, please use the proxy bookmarklet to login. Please email me any comments you have on the database.
