History Database Trials

There are currently trials for two history-related databases:

• House of Commons Parliamentary Papers 1901-2005 - Great Britain; password = welcome
• Burney Collection Newspapers - 17th and 18th century British newspapers; no password required

If a database is of interest to you, please take a bit of time to try it out and let me know what your think. How is the database useful for your research? For your student's research? How important is the database compared to other databases you might use? In your estimation, does the database warrant purchasing given the limitations of the library budget? You must be on campus to access these trials. The trials end March 14, 2008.
