Think your librarian deserves an award? Nominate her/him for the 1st annual Distinguished Librarian Award. This award recognizes a librarian whose contributions advance the mission of the Libraries and the University in the areas of teaching, learning, research, and innovative approaches to practice. Librarians at UW Seattle, Bothell, Tacoma, and the M.G. Gallagher Law Library are eligible.
To submit a nomination, send contact information (including name, address, phone number, and e-mail address) for yourself and the nominee, and a short essay (no more than 500 words) describing the nominee's accomplishments and how he or she contributes to the Libraries and to the University, to the chair of the selection committee:
