The Oxford African American Studies Center provides electronic access to Oxford's major reference works dealing with African American studies supplemented by historic images, chronologies and a selection of primary sources. Reference works include: Africana: The Encyclopedia of the African and African American Experience, Encyclopedia of African American History, 1619-1895: From the Colonial Period to the Age of Frederick Douglass and Black Women in America.
